“WYVERN” born by the wind
Installation｜2012
This installation was intended for the launch of a one-off concept car, “WYVERN”. The car was made by a carozzeria MODI who is known for its concept cars and prototype models. With its theme of “born by the wind”, the installation aims to show WYVERN speeding through the visual wind, using very light organdie material and motion picture projected onto it. It is as if the car gets awaken by the wind, then travels through nature and into space.
About the Exhibition
There are two different sized organdie materials hanging over the vehicle with a projector placed high above. Fans and motors are placed under the stage, which are synced perfectly with the images projected onto the material. The materials flow through the air as if WYVERN is traveling through. Sound is mixed with actual engine sample to create feeling that is very real.
