au SENDAI “Digital Signage Design Project”
KDDI｜2017
au SENDAI is the largest scale KDDI owned store in the country. We have created environment presentation content that is shown on 12 both large and small displays that are installed inside the store. We have designed this around three themes, “SEA, FOREST, CITY” that bring to mind Miyagi Prefecture's possessions such as Matsushima Town, the Zao mountain range and Jozenji Street. We have constructed the work so that it is as if you are traveling a vast world at an easy pace.
All 12 of the displays have been installed and implemented as multiscreen so that from the main large display on the upstairs floor, the sequence of vast worlds spread across the displays of the entire store. The playback of the contents is controlled by an application and so we have implemented a programmable presentation where you can according to the time, change the gradation of the image and according the season, snow can fall and fireflies can fly. We have constructed an infinitely forming generative image expression by using UNITY at the heart of the creative process.
