IR EXPO YOKOHAMA / MELCO BEACH
In January of 2020, the “1st JAPAN IR EXPO in YOKOHAMA”’ IR event was held at Pacifico Yokohama. In light of Melco Resorts & Entertainment’s plans to put out an exhibit as one of the world’s largest integrated resorts, WOW was responsible for orchestrating the presentation of the exhibit space, making arrangements for the booth and spatial design, movie production, and AR contents.
Taking into account that the event was hosted in Yokohama, WOW incorporated the area's historical background as a coastal region in the luxurious beach house theme, “melco beach.” The wood-patterned, dome-shaped booth was built in the likeness of a coral, the entire surface of the floor was covered in LED lighting, and alongside the tranquil, lilting waves, a resplendent flower garden by Makoto Azuma was drawn across the entire surface of the space. The intertwining waves, flowers, and lighting that spilled out from cylindrical shades were made to overlap in ways that altered the overall look periodically to accentuate the fusion of creativity and luxuriousness that embodies Melco.
