Interactive Wall “Seed”
Panasonic｜2012
We produced an interactive wall that would continuously change according to the weather and visitors for the Green Lab., at the Panasonic Center Tokyo. Our daily actions somehow affect the ecology. This interactive wall visually represents the affect and change that the environment and people give. Visitors can feel these changes in the environment thorough motion graphics in the screen, and can enjoy the visuals and sounds that change depending on each season through a year.
About the Exhibition
The visuals of the wall change based on the sunlight data on the premises. Visuals of “Seed” come out based on the data of the visitors’ number of the center. Seeds float and move depending on movements of the visitors. We developed the ever-changing interactive wall with different components: 3D motion sensing camera that tracks visitors’ movement, visual application incorporated with Cinder and sound application mosaicking sound in real time using Max/MSP.
