&Panasonic “window texture”
At a place where “services for daily living” are jointly created, Panasonic’s wall content “window texture” is planned and produced by WOW.
“Window texture” is an environmental device that constantly changes and takes on new expressions. You can move between the world of landscapes and the world of light particles while enjoying the ride.
This content employs real-time motion graphics that generate video footages on the spot. As the motion of the wind and movement of the particles always vary randomly according to an algorithm based on physical calculations, the content showcases a transient aesthetic expression that is likened to the ocean’s surface and flowing rivers.
In addition, the speed and intensity of light have been parameterized, and interactive features such as user operation via iPads as well as automatic response to BGM and voice input from the microphone are available. Finally, in order to enhance its capabilities as an environmental device, there are also features that allow the video to be masked with the window frame and to control the overall brightness. The system’s overall resolution is a real-time video output at a high resolution of 3,840 x 19,440 pixels.
