BLOOM DANCE —NISSAN FORMULA E—
NISSAN｜2024
In March 2024, coinciding with the first ABB FIA Formula E World Championship race held in Japan, NISSAN CROSSING hosted an interactive Formula E exhibit called “NISSAN FORMULA E PARK.” The showcase at the facility's main entrance featured WOW's “BLOOM DANCE” as a car display installation.
Twenty transparent pipes surrounded the car in the installation, and the swirling flower petals created a sense of speed reminiscent of a Formula E race. The countless petals echoed the cherry blossom design on the Gen3 car, gracefully adorning the car, the centerpiece of the event.
This was the third time “BLOOM DANCE” was exhibited for this project. For this version, the movement of the petals was updated by incorporating a new mechanism to reduce static electricity. Airflow was individually controlled in each pipe to further refine the beautiful forms created by the swirling petals.
