INORI - PRAYER -
“Radioactivity” embodies the power of destruction, and that power brings forth death, suffering, and grief. INORI visualizes this theme in the form of, black tears, skulls, cut up faces, Noh masks of suffering, and the Heart Sutra.
Together with AyaBambi’s powerful and symbolic performance, INORI attempts to embody the will to fight death and survive. Radioactivity is a reality which cannot be escaped and this work acts as a medium in which AyaBambi’s prayers are converted into the fundamental strength of life, and examines the states of life and death.
