From Thursday, October 18th, a POP UP EVENT for BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE’s new series, “FACE”, will be held at EYE OF GYRE. WOW will be in charge of the planning, direction, and production of the installation area, production area, and product area.

BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE is a bag brand that embodies the concept “a Piece of Cloth”, that is the basis of ISSEY MIYAKE’s craftsmanship. It makes use of triangles for its structure, which when used on bags, flat surfaces become three-dimensional, and change in form. This unpredictable change that was born by chance will bring beauty, joy, and excitement to users.

“FACE”, which uses faces as a motif, places new geometry pieces into the existing triangle pieces. This exhibition will express the world of the unique and charming “FACE” with graphics and projection mapping. The changing of the bags form by placing items inside, will cause the expression of the “faces” to change, bringing fun and wonder to the event.
